    "Boot error" with usb when trying to install linux


    Hey, I'm tring to install linux with my windows 7 and I tries using the linuxliveusb program to do so but when I tries to boot my computer I get "Boot error" and windows starts normally.. Any suggestions how to fix this problem?

    Either the program you used to create the bootable flash drive was unsuccessful or you do not have the flash drive set to first boot priority in the BIOS.
    What is the computer manufacturer? Do you know how to get into the BIOS? There are a number of downloadable programs which perform this function. Look at the link below. Is that what you are using?

    @NickHalden718 :You probably have some mistakes on your usb so I would recommend you to do following
    • Format usb (usb should have enoguh space for you distribution!)
    • Redownload your linux distribution
    • Install universal USB installer program and create live usb to your pendrive

    Hope it helps and you succed to install linux
