lxde is based on openbox. The openbox configuration files are in ~/.config/openbox. If there is a menu.xml file there, just edit it.

If you don't have a personal menu.xml file, it means that you are using the default menu, which is somewhere in /etc. On my system it's in /etc/xdg/openbox. Copy it over to ~/.config/openbox and edit it the way you want it.

Did you remove the app ,including configuration files ? That is 1 of the remove options in synaptic.
