    How to Install packages on ubuntu by bootable usb or cd


    Hi,
    we are using ubuntu-12.04.2-desktop-i386. And we have need some packages of cctv monitoring.Then how we can Install packages on ubuntu by bootable usb or cd.

    What do you mean - "to install"? Live cd/usb is mounted as a readonly file system so you can not change live system image. You can anyway "install" any package you need as usual by using apt-get command, but changes will only affect your current live session. You will get a clear system again after next reboot. If you want custom and bootable os, just install it as usual from installation cd/dvd on usb stick.
