Try restating your question I know for me I'm not sure what you are asking. What do you mean by exact audio copy for flac files??? A file is a file, are you talking about ripping CD's? Rephrase your question and you might do better getting others to help you.

a file is a file and each copy is exactly the same. that's digital awesomeness.
listening to .flac might require you to install some codecs.
open your favorite software manager and search "flac" and if you're not sure which one to install, post here with the list.
also depends on the media player. which one are you using?

its not in the repo... and Xubuntu is hard to get things installed...some stuff just wont go..someone who knows flac files will know what I mean..

That looks like Windows software which is going to be problematic at best. You may have some luck with getting it to run under Wine but for a native solution take a look at Asunder which should be in the repositories. Also in the repo's is Banshee a media player that can also rip into flac format.

that is your experience, don't generalise.
    ...some stuff just wont go..
    ditto.

i use flac all the time and i didn't understand your first post at all.
i understand now: you want to rip cd's directly to flac. losslessly.
