    How about following the standard troubleshooting procedure instead of guesswork and rudeness?
    Can we have the PCI ID of your graphics chipset to begin with, please?

    this is actually true.
    linux forums are not tech support, and most forum lurkers will get seriously offended if you mistake them for a free help desk, esp. coupled with a demanding attitude.
    the linuxer's standard response to customer mentality is: "I'd demand a refund if I were you!"
