After resolving the kernal issue with my last post....I now have a new one. When first booting, I get the following message: GRUB Loading Stage1.5. GRUB Loading, please wait..... Error ...

    Grub Error!

    After resolving the kernal issue with my last post....I now have a new one.

    When first booting, I get the following message:

    GRUB Loading Stage1.5.
    GRUB Loading, please wait.....
    Error 2


    Any ideas anyone?????

    By the looks of things it is looking wrongly for grub. Maube you have removed /boot? Changed your hard drive set up? Try re installing grub.

    Sorry...completely new to this.....

    where do I run that command from???

    This is the first install of any Linux on the system. It has never ran, and only gives the error message mentioned....so no changes have been made.

    The system is running on SATA drives...they are through and Nvidia controller I think....if that helps.
