I have installed snes9x from the syn.. whatever it is called and I cant find it so I tried doing and install from source but when I type in ./configure it says configure cannot be found blah blah blah basically I just want snes9x to work and with a gui Im getting tired of opening it in terminal only for it to say error when trying to start code graphicswindows. Gosh ubuntu gets seriously annoying when it comes to instaling apps.

Did you install a compiler and all the necessary tools? You can do it easily in one command:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install build-essential
Then follow this guide to compile and install software:
    http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/lin...re-readme.html
(specially the first section, "Compiling and Installing Software from Source")
