    installing from cd-rw

    I burned an unbuntu 6.06 iso image onto cd-rw and tried to install. But installation froze. I burned the same image on a cd-r and installation went fine. How did this happen? I burned the same image on both.
    Also I tried playing mp3s on my windows partion using amarok media player, but didn't play, amarok on Suse can play mp3 from windows?

    I also had the cd-rw problem and burning it again at lower speed solved it . In order to play mp3 you need to download the codecs. The easiest way to do that is installing easy ubuntu from
    with this utility you'll be able to install if you want java and flash plugins among other things
