i'm trying to get this thing to work, which is a wireless usb card. dapper sees it and somehow sees my router when I go into network settings, and then to dns it shows my router. But I can't seem to make this thing work. and ideas. thanks.

You'll probably need some sort of driver for it, but which driver you need depends on the chipset it uses. Open up a terminal and type
to find out which chipset you've got.Code:lsusb

the dwl-g120 use the ralink drivers - had this working perfectly under SuSe 10 64bit
just trying Ubuntu 64bit but using ethernet connection and not wireless
if run lsusb should get something like this
