Installing kdelibs4-dev problems in kubuntu 5.10

n Kubuntu Breezy I get this error from synaptic when trying to install the kdelibs4-dev lib:-

Depends: kdelibs4c2 (=4:3.4.3-0ubuntu2) but 4:3.5.1-0ubuntu0breezy1 is to be installed
Depends: kdelibs-bin (=4:3.4.3-0ubuntu2) but 4:3.5.1-0ubuntu0breezy1 is to be installed
Depends: libarts1-dev but it is not going to be installed

The kdelibs4c2 ( and kdelibs-bin ( are already installed and is a later version than the wanted - so I wonder is k/ubuntu incompatible with kde development - or what can I do??

What is the content of your /etc/apt/sources.list?

Seems you have some incompatible repositories set up in there.

Having KDE 3.5.1 installed in Breezy will cause occasional problems like that. Why not just upgrade to Dapper?
