    greets and salutes (about Qtella)

    Hi all,
    Getting back into Ubuntu, it's been a while. I've been trying to get Qtella and have read a few docs on it. I have the Qt libs I just need to get Qtella, un-tar it and compile it?
    I think I saw a thread earlier on how to do it but can't seem to find it.
    Can someone pint me in the right direction?
    Using Ubuntu 6.06 LTS (Dapper Drake)
    Thanks.

    Do you have to compile it? I find it's best not to go around a package manager whenever possible. So if I were you, I'd do this:
    Code:
    $ sudo su
    % vim /etc/apt/sources.list # Vim, emacs, nano, whatever text editor you want, just make sure that you've added the universe and multiverse repositories after the main one
    % apt-get update
    % apt-cache search qtella
    % apt-get install qtella # Or whatever came up in the search
