I notice during bootup that PCMCIA doesn't load and isn't needed. Is it uninstallable through Synaptic? I'm running a PC....

    Cool about PCMCIA


    I notice during bootup that PCMCIA doesn't load and isn't needed. Is it uninstallable through Synaptic? I'm running a PC.

    There is a package called pcmcia-cs, which is the pcmcia services. I'm mnot sure that I would uninstall it though, I'm not sure what kind of dependencies it has, I know it works closely with hotplug...
