    USB trouble


    I have a 256 MB flash drive. I plugged it into kubuntu. It says it doesn't exist/cannot mount. I need help badly!!!

    We need to know more in order to help...

    Type:
    Code:
    tail -f /var/log/message
    in a terminal, then plug in the flash drive. Those messages are going to explain what is going on, if you still can't figure out what's going on, post them here so we can look at it.

    Also, how are you trying to mount this drive? My experience with Ubuntu is that it mounts the drive automatically.

    Last but not least, does the drive work on another computer?
