password prompt when reopening your laptop?
Could someone advise how to configure (and WHAT to configure) so that I will not be prompted for my password if i close my laptop and re-open it?
I have a small child that LOVES to play with Daddy's laptop when I walk away from it, and I find it slightly annoying to have to re-enter my password 25 times a day!
I wouldn't think this is a hardware specific problem, but if it is, I have a compaq presaio 2210US and a fijutsu (cant remember the modle number off hand)
Thanks

I found the answer:
I went to system->preferences->Power Managment
There is a section for running on battery settings and Running on AC settings....
I changed the "when laptop lid is closed" setting for both battery and AC from "Blank Screen" to "Do Nothing", and this resolved my issue
