I've a problem with my 6.06 Ubuntu. I first used Synaptic Package Manager to install gnome-pilot. Gnome doesn't recogize it. I then did "apt-get install gnome-pilot-" to remove gnome-pilot and then repeated without the trailing - to reinstall. I have no error messages, but selecting Appplications, Add/Remove does not list gnome-pilot.

Does anyone know whey Gnome is failing to recognize an installed package?
