Hi
I have an Ubuntu Dapper 6.0.6 installed on my pc and FreeBSD 6 on another pc. I use a crossover cable to connect the two pcs and share my internet connection. FreeBSD box is the Server. I also used to run nfs on the FreeBSD pc and use Linux as a client. After a lot of effort i got it working. Up until yesterday. Now I again get RPC timeout errors. I run rpcinfo -p on both the pcs and everything looks normal:

idipous@idipous-desktop:~$ rpcinfo -p 192.168.0.1

I can ping the pcs form each other and the thing is that it WORKED a couple of days ago! The only thing is some updates I run on Ubuntu but nothing relevant with NFS. My exports file has not changed a bit and I am pretty sure I don't use a symlink. Any suggestions?
thanks in advance
