    If your talking about the right side things on the image...

    ...then that program is called SuperKarumba.

    It is simple enough to get. Just google for SuperKarumba.

    If you are running KDE in (K)ubunbtu then simply type

    Yes it wil work on Ubuntu with gnome, but it has/may have dependancies relating to kde. The only real way to find out is do:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install superkaramba
    to see what it reports.

    there is something similar for GNOME called gDesklets
