Developing applications in Ubuntu
Hi,
I want to develop my own application in Ubuntu using C++ (preferably) or C. I have installed KDevelop, but I can't install all it's dependencies. I have tried Eclipse, but I wasn't looking for Java. Finally, I downloaded Anjuta, but it is producing an error about "gnome-config: command not found". What is this command, how do I fix it?
Also, what is the best way to develop applications in linux? I've heard KDevelop is the best, but I have been having problems with it on gnome. Please help!
