    more info needed. what is the "secure client software" you speak about?
    from a hardware point of view all you need is a wlan card and correct drivers (or a windows driver through a prog called NDISwrapper)
    if your server is set to only allow connections from the software "secure client" then you may be in trouble if that client is not available on more platforms other than windows.
