    Printing with Canon i965

I am printing to a Canon i965, which I have set up as a network printer. It seems to print perfectly, but at one quarter size. I have tried setting up as bj800, bj 8200, pixma, etc. Nothing seems to make a difference. Can anyone help?

    Canon i965

I am new to the Mint edition of Linux but have previously tried Debian and Ubuntu.
With all of these I failed to get my i965 printer to work correctly.
It would either print one quarter full size or the colour print did not line up with the greyscale printing.

I have at last solved this easily by just selecting the "Canon PIXMA iP8500 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.6 Simplified" printer driver.

Hope this information will prove useful if you have one of these printer.
