MD5SUM files are usually available on the FTP site where you download the ISO file, such as this one:

    http://ftp.ussg.iu.edu/linux/ubuntu-...u/edgy/MD5SUMS

Which I found on this page:

    http://ftp.ussg.iu.edu/linux/ubuntu-.../kubuntu/edgy/

    Hello
I got one more question. I wish to install cedega. I wish to know whether Kubuntu has all the support software required, and if not, how i should get and install them.
    Thank You

The only prerequisites that Cedega has (to the best of my knowledge) is proper 3D acceleration.

now i am facing a new trouble. When i insert my kubuntu cd and reboot for installation, the kubuntu screen appears and when i choose "Start or Begin Installtion", extractions of Kernel, and then of Casper takes place. The next screen shows some "functions error or missing" Then i see a loading small bar but soon after that, the screen goes black and remains so. When i press any keys, i hear a beep. When i try to reboot , the CD ejects and i see a cursor blinking
Can any1 explain whats wrong? I even tried the Safe Graphics mode, but same problem.
My CD is just fine. Its Kubuntu 6.10 and my hashsums is matching. It runs well on my XP installation (to install some other smaller programs like Firefox and Speedcrunch )

PS: i had installed FC5 previuos to this and there was no trouble

Have you considered trying 6.06 LTS instead of 6.10? I can't say specifically for Kubuntu, but I've had issues installing Ubuntu 6.10. Nothing like you're describing, but it might still be worth a shot.
