VMWare CD drive problem
VMWare won't work correctly in my Ubuntu 6.10.
I keep getting the error:
whenever I power the virtual machine on. Anyone know why this is happening? That is where my CD drive is mounted...CD-ROM: '/media/cdrom1' exists, but does not appear to be a CD-ROM device.

Solved.
VMWare wanted the device... not the folder where the CD gets mounted. I switched it from /media/cdrom1 to /dev/hda and now It works.10" Sony Vaio SRX99P 850MHz P3-M 256MB RAM 20GB HD : ArchLinux
