Telnetd
Hi.
I'm trying to access my Ubuntu-server, by telnet from a Win XP SP2 machine. I've tried both telnet and the more secure PuTTY. They both reported something like :"Network Error: Connection Refused".
When I try to log in on the Ubuntu server, like: telnet localhost The machine reply:
Trying 127.0.0.1...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused
Can someone please tell, gladly, a step-by-step thing to make it work.
... and if you did'nt got it; I'm a newbie.
Thanks
