    .ptb files in Ubuntu

Hello. I am a guitarist. I want to be able to open and run .ptb files in Ubuntu, because I do not run Windows. The one program that I know of that can open and run .ptb files is PowerTab. I have downloaded and have gotten this program installed under Wine, but I do not know how to open the program and open these .ptb files with it after I install it. If anyone can help me out with opening and running .ptb files (which are a guitar tab file), I would really appreciate it. Also, if anyone has gotten PowerTab to run and open these files, any help there would also be very appreciated. Thanks a lot, hope you guys can help me out.

There is not a linux version of that program, as it clearly states on their website, so your only hope is to install wine by typing
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install wine
then type winecfg in that terminal to configure your system and install PowerTab
    YMMV

you might powertab tools and then convert them to Lilypond. Then you can use your choice of programs (there are several).
