invisible mouse? o.0
ok, maybe a strange problem here...
heres the long version of the story~~~
My computer has always had trouble with the graphics side of Ubuntu. awhile ago, not sure how long, i had an old version of Ubuntu and installed on this computer. it did nothing except colored stripes. I uninstalled.
Today, I downloaded the new 6.10 version. the default VGA setting didn't work at startup (using live cd, not installed yet). so i changed (using the F4 key) to 1024x768x32. Ok, good so far.it displayed everything fine.
Except the mouse.
It is not a problem with the mouse itself or driver, because i can still mouse the mouse and hover over stuff and highlight menu items and click buttons and everything. The cursor is just invisible. no black square, no weird black dots, nothing. just as if there was no cursor. Everything else displays fine, buttons, colors, desktop, all of it.
just no mouse
------------------
and the short version of the story:
i cant see my mouse help me now
(yes that last part was a joke..........)
Thanks
Matt

Mouse Doesnt Work
I started installing ubuntu 6.06 live cd.. When a screen displyed the istall icon, I tired to move the mouse over it.. but the problem is..the mouse won't move. THe cd i used came from the source where i requested (from UBUNTU itself) so i blieve it is 100% working.
what should I do?
