    FATAL: Module snd_emu10k2 not found.
    So I don't understand this whole module thing. I dno't get how you put them in the configuration and all that. I was also supposed to get a Television module for my all-in-wonder but I didn't know how to do that either.

    ok, I just reread your first post, and I *think* I may have the solution do
    Code:
    sudo apt-get --purge remove linux-sound-base alsa-base alsa-utils
    sudo apt-get install linux-sound-base alsa-base alsa-utils
    if that doesn't work, the only thing suggest I have left is to compile the drivers yourself..... take a look at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SoundTroubleshooting at the section titled
