Unable to Read Files In A Rar

I just got a file with several rar parts in it. When I try to access this file, it says that the file isn't actually a rar. How can I get it to read a rar file that is actually associated with several parts?

    Thanks

usually in multi-part rar's, there's either a plain .rar file, or one that's part01.rar at the end. What you will need to do is open or extract this file. Personally i use the command line program unrar:

    Code:
    unrar e filename.rar
