switch Desktop Environment from 'session' tab at Login Screen. select 'KDE'.
you can set KDE login manager too. execute this code in terminal and select 'kdm'.
sudo dpkg-reconfigure kdm

sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktopCode:
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktop
