windows stuck to top in xgl

I just loaded xgl for first time (after following install instructions from http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu_Edgy). Whenever i open a window though however, it either does not have a title bar at all (ie. no minimize, maximize, etc), or it is stuck to the upper left corner of the screen, and the top panel "becomes" its title bar (but i still can't move the window).. any ideas of how get rid of this ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
    Thanks!

    --fixed--

did a little more looking around on the web, and found another article that suggested using the command "beryl-manager" and that fixed the problem.
