    Question Xfce 4.4 RC2 compositer

I'm running Kubuntu 6.10 with a nVidia GeForce 2 MX. I just got Xfce 4.4 RC2 installed with the graphical installer at xfce.org with the compositing manager compiled in, and I enabled the compositor module in my xorg.conf, and enabled renderaccel and several other odds and ends. I'm am using the nvidia driver.

How do I get window shadows and true panel transparency with xfwm?

    Given you have this :
    Code:
    Section "Extensions"
            Option "Composite" "Enable"
    EndSection
in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file, I believe you can set the options from XFCE control panel. In the Window Manager section.

Yeah, I should have waited a few more minutes before asking. I just figured out where the compositor is configured. Thanks though!
