These are some of the repositories I added manually to mine:

    deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu dapper universe
    deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu dapper universe
    deb http://packages.freecontrib.org/plf/ dapper free non-free
    deb-src http://packages.freecontrib.org/plf/ dapper free non-free
    deb http://www.beerorkid.com/compiz/ dapper main aiglx
    deb http://xgl.compiz.info/ dapper main aiglx
    deb http://ubuntu.compiz.net/ dapper main aiglx
    deb http://media.blutkind.org/xgl/ dapper main aiglx

In your sources.list file there are several repositories (such as the ubuntu universal ones that are commented with a '#' key). This means they are not used. To use them just remove the '#' in front of them.

To access and edit your sources.list file do this:
    sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

After editing it save it and then in the terminal run:
    sudo apt-get update
This will update your packages (refresh) You might consider making a backup of your sources.list file before you edit it though .
    Hope this helps...

The PLF was down last time I checked and had been for a while. To get many of the same packages that the PLF had, try using the Seveas repo: http://seveas.ubuntulinux.nl/dists/edgy-seveas/
This is assuming you are using Edgy. He also has dapper repos.

There is also Trevino's repo: http://3v1n0.tuxfamily.org/dists/edgy/3v1n0/index.html
He has flash 9 beta which is nice .
