First of all, try to fix Windows OS. Boot up from Windows OS installation CD and select repair. It will drop you at repair prompt. Execute fixmbr command and reboot machine.
Does Windows OS boot up fine?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Hello Casper, thanks for the advise.

Here is the problem: Windows no longer boots anymore.

As advised, I've put the WindowsXP Installation CD, run the 'R' (for repair), then run fixmbr and reboot: no luck, exact same problem, it goes to the point where I choose between run Safe Mode, Safe Mode with network, start normally, etc; then whatever I choose, it starts loading but reboots imediatelly. I've the tried the fixboot command, but same thing... Windows starts loading and reboots soon afterwards.

So I think I'll have to reinstall it from scratch. I just don't know why Windows no loger boots properly, it's a mistery for me.

So what do you experts think? Is there any other shot to try?
And what about for the next installation? Do you think that transforming the disks to Dynamic make any difference? Keep the disks as Basic?

    Best regards,
