    Ubuntu wont boot

I am dual booting xp and Ubuntu. I have XP one one hard drive and Ubuntu on the other one. They were working fine until XP was having some problems and it was about time to reinstall XP any ways. After reinstalling XP and playing around with it for a while. I restarted the PC to get to Ubuntu and did not get a boot menu. How can I fix this?

You need to re-install GRUB to the MBR.

boot up from Ubuntu LiveCD and execute this in teminal
    Code:
    sudo grub-install /dev/hda
if you have SATA disk, replace hda with sda. in case it doesn't work, post the output of 'sudo fdisk -l' command here.

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
