    Firefox help, also, I screwed up settings

    Ok, first, I dont know what i deleted but, i deleted the addresses in system>administration>network settings>DNS and now i cant access any repositorys....Ubuntu 6.10. Help.

    THen, firefox doesnt seem to "see" alot of webpages...Some work, some dont...
    For instence, work, loads i can surf the site, but doesnt, address cannont be found. Help.

    Any help would be greatly appriciated. I'm trying to get this set up for a buddy, he was haveing problems with kernel panics and what 6.06 32bit working (was trkying to get the 64bit vertion to work, it dident). Then upgraded to 6.10 and firefox started acting funny.

    It seems that you are accessing the cached DNS in your PC. Go to Network Settings and enter the correct DNS settings. You may use OpenDNS also.
