Can't find a folder
I am looking for /etc/udev/rules.d/ I am attempting to find this folder as root, after running:
and entering my password. When that folder opens in root view all I see is a blank folder?! Why is this folder not there, am I missing something?
This is Ubuntu 10.04.4
Perhaps the folder is empty?

When you run "gksu nautilus", nautilus opens in /root, root's home folder, which will appear empty. You need to go up a level to be able to see the whole filesystem and the /etc folder. If you create that folder structure in root's home, that won't achieve anything.
An alternative would be to run:
And you will see all the system folders, including /etc. Or:
And your root nautilus will open in the /etc folder.
Nice...thank you for that. I feel silly after not knowing that.
