New Install Hardive Issue
Hey everyone I'm totally new to Linux, and am setting up a dual boot with XP.
I have linux installed and windows installed and both boot just fine. The problem is Linux can't seem to see one drive partition.
When I partioned the drive(160Gb drive), I partioned:
30GB NTFS For windows
30GB Fat32 for Linux
98GB FAT32 for shared data
2 GB swap file
When I boot up into Windows, I can see both the NTFS and the Shared partition and write to both just fine.
However, in Linux I either can't see or cannot find the shared partition. I managed to find the NTFS partition, but I cannot find the shared FAT32 partition.
I'm not sure if I set everythign up right when I installed linux, I simply chose the ordinary "FAT32" choice when I made the shared drve.
Is there somethign I have to do to make the shared partition visible, or is it possible that it is here and I just don't see it?
I'm really new to linux, so please be very detailed in your replies.
Thanks for the help!
