Problems getting graphics driver installed on Lubuntu
I'm trying to install Lubuntu on a new partition on an:
Acer Aspire One, D270 (atom n2600 chip)
Lubuntu 12.04 LTS installs fine initially. However, problems occur when I go to Additional Drivers and try to activate the
Cedar Trail graphics driver. It downloads and install in in progress until almost at the end suddenly goes to a black screen. After that only choice is to kill power and it's impossible to boot up again. (I can boot into recovery mode though)
I've tried this several times now and the result is always the same. Without this graphics driver some functions don't work. Ironically this is not a problem on an Ubuntu installation. So I don't understand why just with Lubuntu?
Does anyone have any sugestions how to get this driver installed or an alternative?
