Hi
I tried running Counter Strike on wine but the game always crashes in opengl mode and the next time I start the game the game runs in software mode. I tried the -opengl option as well still the game always crashes. I'm using Fedora Core 8. Any Idea how to fix this problem?
Thanks

What kind of video card do you have? Have you installed the proper drivers for it?

Well I don't have a graphics card. Just the onboard one with my intel dg33fb motherboard. Should I look for drivers for that?

You probably won't be able to play a game as demanding as CounterStrike with just an onboard graphics card. There are Intel drivers for Linux however.

Well I was able to play Half Life 2 at around 20-30fps and games like UT2004 without any problem. Also I have played counter strike before with a lower config. Any further help would be appreciated
Thanks
