SOLVED:Windows not drawing correctly

I'm having a problem with wine. Nothing is showing up in windows. Sometimes I'll get a main window, but sub windows will be blank, and sometimes I get nothing at all. Here's a screencap of winecfg as an example.

I'm running Kubuntu 7.10 and wine 0.9.56. I don't really have any clue what to do about this. Any suggestions?

This may have something to do with it. Or maybe not. This is from my system settings:

I don't have a theme. Is this supposed to be a kde theme, or a windows theme?

Ok, it wasnt the theme. it was the background and text color at the bottom. I set Item to window, background to white and text color to black, now I can see that stuff. I wonder how this went wrong.
