Adobe Premiere Elements 4 on Linux?
I bought a copy of PE4 and I was wondering if their was any free way to run it on Linux? I'm a newbie to Linux, it looks inviting, but PE4 is almost a necessity to me.

Your best bet would be to use something like WINE.
Wine HQ
First I'd search for it in their application database to see if anyone else has had good luck installing it.

Photoshop Elements is a cut down version right...have you considered a native alternative such as Gimp or Krita?
As I understand it Wine is about to turn 1.0 and one of the requirements of allowing that was Photoshop should work flawlessly so I'd say the chances are good. I installed Hitman 2 yesterday and it ran 100% perfectly without any configuration.
EDIT - I stand corrected, Adobe Premiere. My mistake.

As said above, go to winehq.org and search their database. There's a high chance that it'll just run ok in wine. I remember someone using this under wine though I can't say for sure how good or bad the experience was.
If you search the database you might be able to read some results of other people running (or at least trying) it under wine.
