Has anyone successfully run google sketchup with wine?

The attachment is a screen dump of what I get when starting sketchup.

Works for me with Wine-1.1.8, Intrepid, and a recent Nvidia card.

My Update for SketchUp 8.0 and wine 1.2.3.

The only setting that had to be changed in the registry was in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\SketchUp6\GLConf ig\Display the value of HW_OK (change to 1), as was indicated in the Wine-Wiki, linked in the previous posting.

Since, I can draw all I want. I had no use for the animation-functions. And these following features do not work in my installation under Ubuntu 11.10 64bits:

• Exporting to avi
• Exporting to any image-format other than the sketchup file format *.skp
• Printing to file
• Printing to paper

So where I cannot expect that a person has a running installation of SketchUp on her/his own computer, I have to create screen shots from The Gimp, as the Print-key on my keyboard fails. This has probably to do with the emulation, but I do not care much about that.
