Firefox and Wine
I have recently switched over to Slackware from a different distribution and I like Slackware very much but on my other distro wine was set up natively to launch Linux Firefox when a link was clicked on a program in wine. Would anyone be helpful enough to share how to do this manually? Thank you.

There is a native firefox linux package, why would you run firefox with wine? It doesn't make any sense but if you want it here is an explanation:
This package is for slackware 12, download it and run with root user:
sudo installpkg file.tgz

I think that Kristinachan means that, if s/he clicks into a link on a windows application which is running under wine, it should open a firefox window (linux native firefox, I mean), with that url opened into it.
Kristinachan, does it work if you do this on a terminal window?
It should open a window of your preferred browser with the given URL.Code:winebrowser http://www.google.com
