MathType Strange problem
Ok, I've been using cygwin for a while, so I know a fair amount about bash (I think, or maybe I'm a newbie for thinking that). I recently installed mathtype with Wine as part of a school calculus assignment (mathtype is the only equation editor we are allowed to use, and I love vector linux).
The problem I have is that the lables for some of the tabs in mathtype arre a bunch of strange non-mathematical symbols. Is there a way to change this to new fonts so it looks better?

You need symbol.ttf or the like...
See the notes at
Wine AppDB - MathType 6
You have to install symbol.ttf or equivalent in .wine/drive_c/windows/fonts,
then choose "load factory settings" in mathtype, it says.
