[SOLVED] Aheeva soft phone through Wine
I'm having trouble getting aheeva's softphone client (starphone.exe) to connect through wine. I can get the program to open no prob (albeit slowly), but when trying to connect it errors out invariably. Connected to my work network with openvpn, and am able to access all network resources just fine...
Gut reaction is that it's having issues getting out, starphone uses port 8765 and I doubt I've got that open by default... unable to find anything in either aheeva, or wine forums as a reference though.
Any thoughts?

Have I tried
connecting to aheeva ccs by IP address rather than server name?
Might work if starphone.exe isn't looking at vpn connection...

No I haven't
But i will as soon as i get home... makes sense, i have to use IP to connect VNC to work resources when connected VPN.
