Wine Help *Newbie*

I was having problems running Fallout Tactics using Wine, a fatal error would pop up everytime at the start, apparently this solution works:

Add a string value to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Wine\\X11 Driver in regedit

The name UseDGA and the value Y

But being new to linux I have no idea what this means or how to do it, so how do I do that?

Open the Terminal or Press Alt+F2, and type command # regedit
it will open a windows registry editor exactly same like Windows..
as you have used windows before, i think you know what to do next
