DVD Flick -- being able to read the fonts

I'm trying to install the DVD Flick program. I don't suppose anyone has done that? I looked on the Wine App DB, but the results are old. Also they don't seem to have the results that I'm having.

The installation goes fine, then the program starts. Some of the text on the screen I just cannot read. It's small and not very clear. I looked at the program using a windows box and I figured out what some of the unreadable text was, and also figured out that I need to be able to read it. Some of the small text is in a editable field that contains the path to an important directory.

I don't even know if the major functions of the program work under wine, as I cannot get past the font issue. I went to the wine configuration tool and tried to change the fonts that certain elements use, but it did not seem to work.

I use wine now with dvd shrink, and that seems to work well. Is there something wrong with my wine settup or is it the DVD Flick program??

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'd suggest alternatives to this program:

DVD Flick Alternative - Ubuntu Forums
