    CJK Fonts in Menus?



    Classic Empty Square rendering issue. I'm starting with LANG=ja_JP.SJIS which gave me the face and top menu fonts, but the drop menu fonts are failing to render (still). This appears to be a known issue.

    I tried installing and substituting the IPA fonts in the WINE registry (see attachment), but to no avail. I'm just wondering if anyone has found a solution to this yet.

    Running SuSE 11.1
