    CS:S on ubuntu 9.0.4 problem :(

    Hi guys, im new to linux and was chuffed when i managed to install steam and open it with wine!

    ive installed CS:S from steam and its completed...

    but when i click launch my screens resolution changes and the screen goes black.

    now when i move my mouse where the options to find server and create game and such would be i hear the click, but see nothing on my screen.

    im on a toshiba satellite L350 14F so no fancy graphics cards(unfortunately!)

    any help on this would be appreciated

    You should check the winehq app db for information about this. I personally have never had any luck getting steam and its games to run properly on linux, it is the only reason I am keeping a dual boot around.
