    Error running a game on WINE.

    So I'm gonna WINE about this too, while I'm at it.

    I have a game that my friend sent me. Back when I was using Windows 7. I installed that game, and it worked fine. I managed to transfer that game over to linux, and get WINE. It's the exact same game, exact same files. I install the game, I run setup, but when I try to run the game itself, I get "This program has encountered a serious error and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

    I am not sure what game you are talking about. Not all Windows games play on Wine. Here is the link to WineHQ and their app database. See if the game you want to work is there. WineHQ - Wine Application Database
