    Question wine/update problem

    I installed the newest version of wine and had the following error occur:

    Could not initialize the package information
    An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.

    Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the following error message:

    'E:Type 'ntu-wine/ppa/ubuntu' is not known on line 2 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu-wine-ppa-maverick.list'

    i am unable to update or download Ubuntu files.
    Any ideas for solving this would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    You've never been able to update/download Ubuntu files, or just now after trying to update Wine?

    ubuntu/wine/error

    Everything worked fine before I downloaded the new 'Wine' software.
    Now I am unable to update files or open Synaptic Package Manager without getting the following message appearing :

    E: Type 'ntu-wine/ppa/ubuntu' is not known on line 2 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu-wine-ppa-maverick.list
    E: The list of sources could not be read.
    Go to the repository dialog to correct the problem.
    E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

    In the first line in the error message I think 'ntu' should be Ubuntu?
    But I don't know how to change it in the sources.list.
